Would you like to help with the Laurel Pregnancy Center?
Frank and Lisa McGovern teach a parenting class at Laurel Pregnancy Center and are preparing for the Spring semester. Wallace has some very special ways we could “adopt” this parenting class. Here are three suggestions:
- Every week they offer a “door prize” at the end of class as a way to encourage these soon-to-be parents in the midst of difficult situations. We have the opportunity to provide those door prizes. The gift ideas are just suggestions and not set in stone, so email Catherine Daly if you have any questions or want to invent a new category.
- The class would love donations of new or used copies of What to Expect When You are Expecting.
- Most of all, please pray for the McGoverns as they are the hands and feet of Christ in this special ministry, and for the women and men who participate in the class — that they would be drawn to Him as they learn how to prepare and care for the babies to be born.
